First Trifacta Data Preparation conference in Israel

Yosi Rodrik, CEO of Aqurate, a subsidiary of UCL, stated that: “Trifacta offers an automatic tool for the analyst for data optimization, standardization, and unification in an interactive manner and with no need of code writing”.

Trifacta, the manufacturer of a world-leading Data Preparation platform, in collaboration with Aqurate, the company’s representative in Israel, is announcing its first conference in Israel to introduce its suite of Data Preparation solutions. In the event, the companies will present the platform’s abilities to professionals and decision-makers from the worlds of data, big data, BI, and analytics. The international research company Forrester found this platform as the leader of the world of data preparation solutions out of a list of 10 vendors in that field.

Artificial Intelligence-based Data Prep

Trifacta develops and markets the AI-based Data Preparation platform that makes it possible to dramatically shorten and optimize the time-to-analysis processes and make them more intuitive. The company’s solutions are meant to enable analysts to investigate, operate, optimize, and enrich raw data and make it clean and structured without any code writing. Thus, the data preparation process shortens substantially, a process that is estimated today to take 80% of the overall time it takes to make a data-based business analysis. The company uses a raw-to-clean data transfer process with machine learning technology, data visualization, human-machine interaction, and parallel processing that are intended for the personal use of business users. The company is a Data Wrangling pioneer, dealing with manipulating data from raw materials to insights.

It should be noted that Trifacta was established in 2012 after 15 years long research done by Berkeley and Stanford universities in the United States. The company’s clients include over 10000 organizations worldwide, including Google, which operates the Google Data Preparation service based on the Trifacta platform. Among the platform’s clients are organizations from a wide range of verticals, including banking (Bank of America and HSBC), insurance (Humana), pharmaceutical (Bayer), retail (eBay), telecom (Vodaphone), industry (PepsiCo), government (US department of defense), and more.

Yosi Rodrik, CEO of Aqurate, stated that: “Trifacta has over 10000 clients around the world and is considered the leading tool in its field for analysts, data scientists, actuators, and any factor trying to dive independently into the data lakes of organizations – whether it’s dealing with formal and structured data sources or raw and unstructured – and make it possible to see in-depth insights into the data and trends, without writing code”. Rodrik adds that “Trifacta offers an automatic tool for analysts for data optimization, standardization, and unification in an interactive manner, without writing any code. In a simple process, it is possible to shorten the time it takes to make raw data into business insights”.

Trifacta –Forrester’s first place

From Forrester’s periodical report, “Forrester Wave: Data Preparation Solutions, Q4 2018”, it turns out that after examining 10 solutions from the world of Data Preparation, Trifacta got the highest score and is the leader in this field, rising above other vendors like SAP, Oracle, and SAS. Forrester refers to the Data Preparation solutions in the report as “jet fuel that will accelerate the transition from data to obtaining insights”.

When referring to Trifacta, the research company stated that “clients enthusiastically note the ease of use of the solution and that a fresh user will know how to work with it just after two-three hours of guidance. The tool is intuitive to use, does data profiling automatically, and enables to identify patterns in the data easily”.

The 2019 Trifacta conference is for CIOs, data scientists, technology managers, digital managers, BI managers, big data managers, analysts, and decision-makers in the worlds of data and analytics.
