“One of the main challenges of any organization in the current era concerns its ability to use the information at its disposal and turn it into a valuable business tool,” thus said Yosi Rodrik, CEO of Aqurate, a subsidiary of UCL, which represents Talend in Israel.
According to him, “this is an age of a data tsunami that keeps getting bigger and bigger, and a certain approach is required that is suitable for the current era in every aspect of how data is managed and integrated into the business systems. It can be banks, healthcare providers, airlines, communication companies, government offices, or alternatively a High-Tech company or a startup”.
“More and more organizations realize that the answers to most of their questions can be found in the information they already have, and in order to extract insights from it and convert it to business moves, they have to equip themselves with a technological platform that will enable them to move forward, into the digital age. Talend offers this kind of platform, a unified complete system for Data Lake construction, including integration with cloud systems or between clouds”.
“These are the issues that we will deal with at the Talend and Aqurate annual gathering. As a part of it we will present a technical road map of the Talend solution suite, data management possibilities the suite offers, and case studies of customers who use this suite in on a daily basis”, he states.
Two guests from Talend’s regional headquarters will attend the event – Brian Perrins, the company’s European sales manager, and Davide Pelosi, the company’s European pre-sale manager, that will present a road map and a live demo of ‘streaming data from your smartphone’.
More of the event’s lectures are Oz Levi, CTO at Matrix BI, that will present ‘building future proof Data lakes using Talend & Hadoop.’ Matan Zohar, Disruptive Technologies Leader at Matrix Software Products, will present ‘powering the future of your data,’ The case studies presenters are Ilan Ravid, CTO at Nova Lumos, and Sariel Sharfi, R&D at MDClone.
Gartner recognized Talend’s momentum
Talend is a provider of an end-to-end data management world suite – whether it’s ETL, ESB for linking organizational applications, BPM for business processes management, MDM for overall support of the processes regarding shared entities in the organization, BRMS for managing the business constitution, and DQ for data optimization.
The system also supports real-time data integration and analysis (Streaming Data) and is operative in the field of data integration and the world of Big Data. The suite is based on open-source code and enables Java development, which grants access to it for every developer in the organization, and enables its integration in every environment without restriction or any other installation.
Gartner recognized the company’s breakthrough and in a magic square research in the field of data integration tools that was published a few months ago, the company reported on dramatic trend changes in the competitive landscape of data integration solutions providers. While the old providers have dropped in position in the ‘leaders’ quadrant, Talend was the only one to rise in the Gartner ranking in 2017.
“Talend is the data integration market provider that makes the same disruption that will enable organizations to ‘play’ the data in the digital world’s fast tempo”, Rodrik concluded.
Aqurate, a UCL subsidiary, specializes in all aspects of data management – emphasizing embedding data integration systems, data optimization, data analysis, interfacing application systems to the corporate databases, and Big Data infrastructure.
